About Driver Improvement Clinics

There are many Reasons for Attending a Driver Improvement Course. Make sure you know which one applies to you.

When you attend a driver improvement clinic, you will learn defensive driving techniques that can help you avoid and prevent crashes. These eight-hour classroom sessions are offered at sites around the state. Check your area for the site closest to you.

IMPORTANT: If you are required by the court to attend a driver improvement clnic, the court will determine if you are to be awarded safe driving points. You must present documentation from the court to the driver improvement clinic that you attend before DMV can award points. Safe driving points will not be awarded if the clinic does not receive this documentation.
