NEW! -- Reserve Your Spot (E-Ticket)

Reserve your spot for same-day service, and we’ll save your place in line in the DMV customer service center.

How it works:

  1. Visit our Locations page and find your local office.
  2. When the pop-up appears on the map, click the location link to go to your local office’s page.
  3. Scan the QR code or text the office’s unique code to 89247, and follow the prompts. Each office has its own code, so be sure to scan or text the code for the office you will visit.
  4. Once you arrive, text “I am here” to activate your reservation.

Note: Customers who checked in online must be present in the office by 4:30 p.m. on the day they reserved a spot in order to be served.

Walk-In

DMV customer service centers are available for walk-ins during office hours. All services, including knowledge and road skills testing, are available.

Service is first come, first served, so wait times may vary by location. View wait times at the customer service center nearest you.

To check in when you arrive, visit the Information Desk or scan the QR code in the lobby to reserve your spot for service. If you use the code, follow the text message prompts and you’ll receive your ticket number directly to your phone.
